General Membership Information
Currently we are selling memberships for the 2026 – 2027 golf season which runs April 1st, 2026 – March 31, 2027
- Exception 1 – New Members – your membership will be activated on the day of purchase if purchased before April 1st, 2026. **Young Professionals, see Exception 2**
- Exception 2 – New members who are looking to join as a young professional – you must fill out the lottery form before filling out the general membership form..
Membership Process
After you have reviewed the various membership options available to you please follow the membership process in order to activate your membership.
- Step 1 – Complete the Membership Form
- 2026 – 2027 Golf Course Membership Form
- This form has taken the place of the paper form which will no longer be used. You must complete this form prior to purchasing your membership.
- Step 2 – Make Payment – only after Step 1 has been completed.
- If planning to pay prior to a tee time, please arrive at least 20 minutes before tee time to go through membership activation process

Payment Plans
We have payment plan options for some of our memberships. Each payment plan carries a $250 service charge in addition to the membership cost. If you are interested in a payment plan the form can be found below.
Please do not email the completed payment plan form, forms must either be turn in at the pro shop or mail in. We will not process any forms that are sent via email.

Young Professional Membership Process
Existing Members
- Can renew their young professional membership for the upcoming season as long as they still meet the age requirement (under the age of 35 on April 1st).
New Members
- We are currently not accepting new member Young Professional applications. If you are not currently a member here at UMD Golf Course but would like to be added to the New Member Young Professional waitlist please complete the wait list form.
- On March 16th, if there are any spots avaliable for young professional memberships, we will do a lottery from the waitlist and invite those who are selected to join until our limit is met.
- Tip: If you are looking to have a membership start immediately, you may purchase one of our other memberships and starting using it upon the date of purchase instead of waiting to see if you are selected for the young professional membership which wouldn’t start until after March 16th.

Terms and Conditions of Membership
The term of a Semester Student Membership runs from the first day of classes thru the last day of exams. The term of an Academic Year Student Membership runs from the first day of the Fall Semester thru Spring Commencement. The term of a Calendar Year Student Membership runs 1 year from the date of purchase. Student Memberships are available to current UMCP students, full time students at any UM System School, and youths under the age of 18. Graduating seniors are eligible for the Calendar Year Student Membership at student price.

Updated No Show Policy-
- After your first no-show you will receive a notice via email
- After your second no show your tee time booking privileges will be removed and you will only be allowed to walk on for a two week period
- If a third no-show occurs membership privileges will be suspended
Membership Application Process & Form
- Complete the below google form prior to arrival at the UMD Golf Course
- Once the form has been submitted we will be able to access your resopnses and you can then pay for your membership
- You will also recieve an email copy of your responses for your record
- Please arrive 20 mintues before your tee time if you are purchasing a membership to allow for the membership sale and processing. If you show up less than 20 mintues before your tee time we will not be able to process your membership and you will have to pay to play as a non-member for that round. Any greens fees paid will not be deducted from your membership cost.
