Private Instruction

The University of Maryland Golf Course offers private instruction on all aspects of the game to golfers of all levels.

45 Minute Private Lessons

Lessons are available on all aspects of the game from our teaching staff.  Customize your lesson to focus on putting, chipping, short game, full swing, or anything else you would like to work on to reach your goals.

1 Lesson – $75 (Juniors $40)
3 Lessons – $210
5 Lessons – $325

*Golf Course Members and Faculty/Staff receive 10% off instruction prices. UMCP students receive 20% off.*

Playing Lessons

Once you feel comfortable with your swing, the best way to improve your scoring is not at the range, but on the golf course with one of our professionals. You will receive valuable information on club selection, shot selection, reading greens, mental strategies, trouble shots, and more. Playing lessons have to be before 10am based on course traffic and availability.
