2022 Fall PGA Jr League
Cost: $200 per player, (+$99 PGA Jr League Annual Game Changer Club Membership Fee*)
Age Range: 8-17 (players must be at least 8 and no older than 17 as of December 31st, 2022)
Season: Approximately 8 weeks beginning in September
Teams:
- 17U travel team (6 players), must be at least 14 and no older than 17 as of December 31st, 2022
- 13U travel team (8 players), must be at least 10 and no older than 13 as of December 31st, 2022
- 17U/13U combined in-house league (24 players), players must be at least 8 and no older than 17 as of December 31st, 2022
Details
Registration: Sign ups will be available to the first 38 registrants. Call the golf shop to begin registration. (301-314-4653) The access code to register players on pgajrleague.com will be given after registration is completed through the golf shop.
Structure:
Option 1: All players are eligible to sign up for the 17U/13U combined in-house league. The in-house league players will be divided into 4 teams and play matches against each other.
Option 2: Based on age qualifications, players may sign up to qualify for our 13U or 17U travel teams. A 9 hole individual stroke play qualifier will be held on Friday August 26th or Friday September 2nd to help determine the travel team players. Those players who do not make the travel teams will be placed into the in-house league. Travel team matches will be scheduled once we are assigned to a local league.
*PGA Jr League Annual Game Changer Club Membership Fee: Every PGA Jr. League player is required to pay an annual fee of $99, which includes access to their local league and participation in as many seasons as desired throughout the year. This membership includes custom uniforms and team kits, a digital center with fun games and events, and opportunities from partners and sponsors. Players who registered for a Spring 2022 team do not need to pay the fee again, but they still need to register on pgajrleague.com.
**All players must be able to walk 9 holes in compliance with UMD GC’s pace of play policy.
